New checkout and hold pick-up periods
On January 2 we changed the length of time eRead Illinois Axis 360 items can be checked out from 21 days to 14 days. Additionally users will now have 2 days to pick up their available holds.
These changes mean that:
- Patrons can get their holds faster
- Libraries can provide more popular content to patrons
- And we can maximize the use of eRead Illinois collection development funds
